Newest Kitchen Gadget : The Instant Pot

Ok, babes….I have a confession to make.

I totally caved on Amazon Prime Day and purchased the one item that everyone has been raving about lately, The Instant Pot.

It was a total impulse buy, as I had never even heard of it before.  My interest was peaked when I noticed SEVERAL people posting about it on Facebook and Instagram.

Find on Amazon Here : Instant Pot 7-in-1 Multi-Use Programmable Pressure Cooker

The Instant Pot is basically an electric pressure cooker that can do SO many different things!!  It can easily create healthy meals, is energy effecient, and not to mention super convenient…especially for a busy mom.

It takes the place of six (let me repeat that SIX) other kitchen appliances.  God knows we can always use the extra space in our kitchens…am I right?

Replaces :

-slow cooker

-rice cooker

-saute pan

-yogurt maker {hmmm..interesting}

-keep warm serving pot

Me being the little researcher that I am, googled this product before purchasing and there are a ton of amazing reviews about it.  There’s also about a bajillion recipes that I’ve been saving and want to try.

First recipe that I want to try {because I can’t resist Italian} :

Can we say YUMMM!  Check out her website above to view the full recipe.  I’m thinking that I’m going to try it tomorrow night for dinner.  I have a feeling that the kiddos {and the hubs} are going to love it.

I plan on trying out several recipes (a lot of healthy options) over the next month.  I will do an updated post on my favorites and a full review of what I think about the product.

I’m being summoned to play barbies with my daughter, Ayla, so it’s time for me to go. After all, what’s Barbie without Skipper, right?!

Have an awesome Wednesday.

    1. Yes!, it is worth it! It makes healthy meal prep really fast compared to a slow cooker…works great for rice, hard boiled eggs, chicken (frozen or fresh), and tons more. There are so many recipes on Pinterest that look amazing too! I was never much of a slow cooker person, but have been loving this thing!
