Favorite Summer Dress Under $225

Happy Hump Day! I can’t wait to share one of my favorite summer dresses for under $225. That may seem like a steep price to some, but trust me you will get a lot of use out of this dress. I have worn mine into the GROUND and I have it in TWO colors.

My day is crazy busy today because I’m going with one of my best friends to Omaha Fashion Week downtown tonight…yes, Omaha has a fashion week and it’s a pretty damn good one at that! Ha! It’s super fun to get all dolled up and have a girl’s night..although, I do usually drag my husband to Finale Night as well. I will share outfit details in a later post, so stay tuned.

Without further ado, my favorite summer dress is made by brand called Tularosa. They have a ton of really cute options for summer and feature fun trends as well. I have this particular dress in green {as pictured} and in red also. I bought the red one about 2 years ago and loved it SO much that I decided to purchase it in this dark green color for another option.

I like it because it shows off the legs while being fairly covered on top. I believe in the rule that you can’t show cleavage AND leg….pick one ladies and roll with it because it can be just a little much otherwise.

This particular dress is definitely not super conservative as it is pretty short. It’s not so short that I feel uncomfortable in it by any means…just be careful getting out of a car…no Lindsay Lohan/Britney Spears moments needed.

I adore the lace detailing on this dress as well as the little balls at the bottom and along the sleeves. It makes the dress feel fun and carefree which is perfect for summer.

When the nights start to cool down in August, it works perfectly to throw a cute little jean jacket over it to keep warm. Hello fall transition dress..

I personally like to style it with a pair of wedges to keep those summer vibes going and keep it casual. It would look great with a pair of flats too if you happen to be going somewhere like a music festival {which it would be PERFECT for}.

I need to go wash my spray tan off now and head to my blowout appointment. I can’t WAIT to show you guys what I’m wearing!

XOXO – Sara
